Help Our House be more like a Home by Cooking a Meal for our Families

Come to the Ronald McDonald House to cook a meal for our families any day of the week and ease their burden of having to be in the kitchen instead of their child’s bedside. This is a great opportunity for a group of 5 or more people to cook breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner.

We ask that you prepare enough food for 30 people. Please understand that this is strictly an estimate. The actual number of people attending the meal varies greatly even when the House is full. This is due to a number of factors, none of which are predictable. Not all families will be able to make it to the House in time for your serving, but they will be searching for leftovers when they return. At times, families will prepare to-go plates for children in isolation. Rest assured that whether the food is eaten in the kitchen at the time of the meal, carried away, or warmed up for leftovers later on, it will be eaten and is very much appreciated.

For health and safety reasons, all meals must be prepared on site in our community kitchen or by a restaurant. Please review our food preparation guidelines.
