Make a Tribute Gift: The Ronald McDonald House tribute donation program is a wonderful way to honor a special someone. Acknowledge the loss of a loved one, send a birthday or anniversary greeting, a get well wish or recognize someone special. Contact Amy DeWalt at 412.246.1108 for further information.

Spare Change: With the support of the local McDonald’s Restaurants, the Ronald McDonald House Charities is able to place canister collection boxes at the registers and drive-thrus. By dropping spare change into the collection boxes, the customers of McDonald’s are helping the families of seriously ill-children a few cents at a time. 

Planned Giving: Planned giving allows a donor to incorporate charitable intentions into long-term financial planning. Whether Ronald McDonald House receives the gift now or later, you can benefit immediately with substantial tax savings, retirement income, and/or a more convenient asset transfer to heirs. Endowment Giving: An endowment fund is a donation which is invested by the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Pittsburgh. Its principal remains intact, while the earnings support our charitable efforts. The fund can be directed to support specific activities (such as operating support for our house) or preserve a program (such as the Jacob Johnson Fund – that provides financial support for lodging while our families stay in Pittsburgh). Stock Donations: Gifts of securities, which have gone up in value since their purchase, can provide additional benefits allowing you to receive a charitable income tax deduction and avoid capital gains tax.
