Corporate Donors

Little boy and mom reading.

Our corporate partners play a vital role in helping us deliver comfort and care to children and their families.

Our partnerships are customized to fit the goals of each corporate donor while also carrying out our mission to help children and their families lead happier and healthier lives. If your corporation is interested in supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Pittsburgh through monetary gifts, in-kind donations or volunteering, some of the possibilities include:

Financial Support

You can financially support the Pittsburgh Ronald McDonald House through a variety of workplace giving programs.

Celebrate and Give – forgo your office party and donate the budget to the House.

Bring Bang to Your Buck at Work – name the Ronald McDonald House in your workplace giving program, United Way Contributors Choice (384 agency code) or Combined Federal Campaign (35631 agency code).

Design a Fundraiser – organize a tournament or contest and designate the House as the recipient of the proceeds. For example: provide employees with incentives such as causal Friday if they donate.

In-kind Donations

One easy way to help is to collect and donate everyday household products from our       Wish List. The House uses everything your home does except on a larger scale. Please note: for the health and well being of our children, we can only accept new items.

Collect and donate aluminum pop tabs to the Ronald McDonald House. The donated pop tabs are taken to a local scrap metal yard where they are weighed and exchanged for cash. The pop tab program raises $3,000 a year for the families staying at the House. Pop Tab Brochure

Volunteer

Volunteers are needed in all areas of the Ronald McDonald House. We can match your interests and talents with any of the following opportunities.

Volunteer at the House You or your employees can volunteer time and assist in day-to-day operations of the House such as housekeeping or clerical duties.

Prepare a Meal – Come to the House to cook a meal for our families any day of the week and ease their burden of having to be in the kitchen instead of their childs bedside. All meals must be prepared on site or by a restaurant.

Lead a House Activity We welcome people to come up with kid or adult friendly activities that can help family members relax and reduce their stress if only for an hour or two. We invite you to lead a group of house guests in activities such as: craft workshop, games, cookie baking, etc.

Become a Corporate Partner

By becoming a corporate partner of our Big MAC Open golf outing and Storybook Ball Gala fundraiser, your company and guests will be a participant at the events as well as receive recognition via multiple marketing avenues. Please review the 2010 Partnership Guide to learn more about becoming a corporate partner.

We are always happy to talk with corporations about possible partnership and opportunities. If you would like to tailor a partnership that best suits your company, please contact Amy DeWalt at 412.246.1108 or amy@rmhcpgh.org to discuss additional options.
